How Do I Create An Order?
Once you have decided which artwork you’d like to buy, simply it add to your cart by selecting if you would like it to be framed or unframed in the drop down box and follow the steps to purchase. Add any additional information or requirements you may have such as size, colour or specially requested framing options in the comments section. Once at the checkout please enter your details, including the shipping location and where you heard about us. When you complete your purchase you will receive an automated confirmation email with the details of your order and when the product has been shipped you will receive a second email with the tracking number.
What Is The Difference Between An Original Abstract Painting and A Commission?
An original abstract painting is a unique artwork that Cat has already created and is listed in the online store or on our social platforms. A commission is a request to create a personalised and individual piece of art specifically for you. This can be related to size, colours and/or the type of artwork so you have the creative freedom to decide exactly what you’d like.
How Do I Buy A Gift Voucher?
If you would like to purchase a gift card please go to our Shop page and click either the “Gift Cards To Share The Love” button or listed “Gift Card” item at the bottom of the product page. You will then be able to select which amount you would like your gift card to be for and proceed with the purchase. At the checkout you will be prompted to select if you would like to send the gift card to a recipient or to yourself. Please note, gift cards do not expire and you can use them on any artwork.
How Do I Commission An Artwork Of My Own Choice?
If you would like to purchase a commissioned artwork please go to our Shop page and click on either the “Commission An Artwork” button or listed “Commissions” item at the bottom of the product page. Please then select which size would like your original artwork to be and proceed with the purchase. Before the checkout you will be prompted to share your idea, size and what you would like Cat Lee to create. Then detail any specific requirements or additional information you would like Cat Lee Art to take into account when creating your unique artwork.
Please note, commissions are made to order and upon request so our team will be in touch with you to discuss creative and drying timelines and when you can expect the artwork to be delivered.
What Is The Difference Between An UnFramed or Custom Framed Artwork?
Each original painting and unique commission has the option to be purchased either unframed or with a custom frame.
Framed artworks take slightly longer to be dispatched as each frame is custom made to fit the specific artwork. Artworks with custom framing are delivered in hand-crafted high gloss white frames. As these frames are made to order and unique to each piece, custom frames are a default white colour but you can request an alternative colour at the time of purchase by adding the preference into the ‘additional information’ section of the checkout. Cat Lee Art reserves the right to alter the standard framing materials at any time and without notice.
What Is The Artwork Sizing, With Or Without Framing?
All sizes listed in the product section take into consideration the total size of the artwork either unframed or in a custom frame. If you purchase a product unframed, the sizing will be 1-2 inches smaller overall than the listed height and width of the framed artwork.
Do You Offer Both International and Domestic Shipping?
Yes, absolutely. Cat Lee Art is proud to ship artwork to clients both within Australia and internationally. Please see our ‘Shipping & Returns’ page for further information.
When Can I Expect My Order Will Be Delivered?
After you have placed your order, please allow 10-14 days for final touches, custom framing and specialist packing before your order is shipped. As products are shipped from Australia, please anticipate standard domestic (4-7 days) or international (up to 2 weeks) shipping times depending on your location.
If you have not received your order within 14 days of dispatch from Cat Lee Art, please contact us in writing to enable us to track and resolve the issue.
How Do I Look After My Artworks and Items?
Cat Lee Art advises to not hang your item in direct sunlight, above radiators or in a specifically hot area. For any artwork hanging, our recommendation would be to use two hooks for each of the top corners of the frame, or alternatively you can hang the artwork with wiring secured across the back of the piece.
I Would Like To See An Artwork In Real Life, Is That Possible?
Yes of course, we love when our clients want to see artworks in person and having the chance to meet you all. Cat Lee Art regularly has open art studio days and art shows and exhibitions that are open to everyone. In addition to this, if you would like to see any available artworks listed in our online store, any that are still works in progress in the art studio or would like to discuss commissioning a unique piece of art in person please email catleeartist@gmail.com to discuss the arrangements.
